Indonesia on the Cultural side
Shortly i will be featuring an exclusive post based on the amazing work by talented, young Indonesian photographers whom I am still contacting.......
I would also love to do a short interview with each of them on their POV of the Indonesian Photography
The purpose of it, is to show the world that Indonesia and its people are nothing like u see and hear on the news...
Indonesia, the world's largest archipelago is a lovely, warm and rich nation with amazingly friendly and sincere people which are forced to surrender to the helplessness resulted by the corrupted government.
In a country rich in natural resources, most of them living in poverty; a family (far extensive) dwell in 2 by 2 wooden shack with dirt as the floor, not to mention the seasonal flood;
Rice and soy sauce as their primary food intake, if lucky chili, egg or dried salted fish may compliment their feasts. Even by the conditions that a developed country may see as saddening, Indonesians live far from distress; this is observable from the constant smiles on their faces, simple and sincere.
Indonesians are not bothered in pursuing pageant living, and live to fulfill their most basic need, food. The people of Indonesia are submissive to the life that they are living, accepting everything as their fates and never complain.
for now, I'll show some original work of local artists on how they perceive Indonesia and describe it through the manifestation of advertisement; as a preliminary insight to further appreciate these young artists.
here are the videos of my beautiful country...
