Lovely art

All these beautiful images are from the amazingly talented illustrator, Marmee.
Her peculiar long necked beauties are one of a kind and will be a shame to miss....
Somehow, the pink hues on the cheeks seems to bring the work together.

Mood boards

How can an artist live without a nice old mood board.
a board where we stick all the things that inspire us.... beautiful pictures, patterns, rippings of magazines..... feathers....photos....
I have got almost half of my ownings stuck on my board.... I change it every once in a while to continue to inspire and decorate my lovely room-slash-studio. Bellow it, is where i usually work and spend my day at my small desk...

This pic was taken when i first hung it up at my new place. now it is horribly overloaded...
plus my walls are full with animal prints from IKEA and cat postcards which I got from my "stuff on my cat" collection...
based on these lovely pics that i managed to find all around flickr, it's made me realize how unique and different each of us are....

Mood boards.......
some love them messy with slapped on cut'outs, and some keep them nice n tidy....
some pin on their stuff, some glue, some tack, and some slip under elastic addons...
mood boards are commonly cork... the soft corky finishing makes it so easy, usable, durable, and hassle free......
oh and did i mention that the most common picture to be on the mood boards is Audrey Hepburn..... interesting....... she is just so pretty and inspiring....

Great illustrations

Now this is an artist we ought to keep our eyes on. The 18 year old Caitlin Marie Shearer that studies fine art at COFA expresses herself through these beautiful, simple sketched postures (mostly females) with touches of pastell colours contrasted against jet black.

I love her work and was extremely thrilled when she sent me three of her art works.
Thank you, caitlin dear!

Viner Studio Art

These pieces from Viner Studio are incredibly beautiful. The New York based  artist creates pieces so dark, yet so innocent and dainty.

I wouldn't mind putting up one of these upon the wall in my bedroom.
