Treasure Resurfaced

Last year during my visit to the lovely Singapore, Ray and I visited a local flea market that was recommended by fellow blogger fashion is spinach whom is based in Singapore. After purchasing a few bits and bobs such as a classic coca cola tin, a vintage necklace, 2 wicker picnic baskets, rays oldie glasses, etc we reached the end of the road and my hope for finding fabric had gone 100%. I was devastated and disappointed... I was walking and gazing into space when i green shadow caught my eye, i came back to life and tried very hard fighting the blasting sunlight focusing upon this green thing moving in the distance.

"Hmm..What is that..?" I wondered as a very elderly lady whipped it into one bag to another in her dilapidated shack across the street.

"Its beautiful...Is it a table cloth? Why is it not shining in the sun or at least reflecting some light?"
"Hmm... it can't be fabric, it's too beautiful!" I thought as my body started dragging me towards it.
"Holy ***!!!It is ****ing fabric!! I can't believe it." Without hesitating I grabbed it as hard as I could like I would die if I didn't feel it!
The woman gave a very odd look to me and said; "You want?I give you very cheap. Last one only!" In her Singaporean accent.
"Ok," i said, "how much?"
"6 dollars"
"Holy ***. What a bargain!" I thought. Even if it was 60 i wouldnt hesitate buying it.
"No discount?" I asked as if it wasn't already cheap enough.
"No..No..." She answered as she took it back from me....

SHE TOOK IT AWAY FROM ME!!!!!

OK, I'LL TAKE IT.... I grabbed it and shuvved it into my new picnic basket and handed her the money.

All the way back home, I couldn't stop smiling and skipping with joy. I got 5 metres of heavenly fabric for 6 singapore dollars. That is around 4 US dollars!!!

HHAHAHA....Pot luck!!
