Why didn't I think of that? A Collection of Beautiful Feather and Plant Illustrations Golly Bard

Why didn't I think of that? Most illustrators and artists probably find themselves asking this question from time to time. Sometimes, even the most ordinary, boring and common objects can come alive in the hands of a perfect illustrator. This is what jumped to my mind when I came across this image of Nature in jars on  Pinterest. These patterned and simple detailed art pieces come from a Virginia based illustrator Holly Ward Bimba that goes by the name Golly Bard.

This handsome dragonfly certainly is a keeper!

I've been wanting to pursue such a thing so I'm very pleased you asked. I've already put your link on my blog. I look forward to seeing your photos of the Morning Glories you're growing! Beautiful work by a talented illustrator. I especially like the one with the little birdies in the nest.
