Celebs this week

What was she thinking!!! After being voted as worst dressed by Vanity Fair, she decided to dress and jump to the worst of the worst dressed.

Christina wears a project runway look a like skirt here.

Looking 10 years older than she actually is, she dressed up to help mark Macy's 150th year of retailing. My guess is she didn't help by wearing this. Hah!

Julianne and her daughter look so 60's. while her mum went retro by wearing a geometrical shaped patterned dress, her daughter went free like a hippy. Nice!

Cannes 2008

The Cannes 2008 film festival is back...

The Film Festival kicked off today with many colourful dresses walking the red carpets.

A few of the faces on the red carpet and and at the opening ceremony Wednesday, and shown below, were jurors Sean Penn and Natalie Portman, brand-new mom Cate Blanchett, Julianne Moore (promoting open night feature "Blindness"), Eva Longoria with Indian beauty Aishwarya Rai, and many many more...

My fav Natalie Portman caused a storm of flashbulbs as she arrived at the Blindness premiere, stepping out in a bold purple strapless creation by Lanvin.

The 26-year-old actress, who is a member of this year’s festival jury,says of the honour: “I am extremely honoured to be part of this jury. Obviously Cannes represents the height of cinema from all around the world. It’s an incredible opportunity to get to see so many films, from so many different countries…. It’s a great pressure. It’s all these great films that we have to judge and to be in the position of a judge is very humbling, because all the filmmakers are so incredible and who am I to say something, but I will.”

Cate Blanchett turned heads on the red carpet as she arrived for the screening of Brazilian director Fernando Meirelles’ film entry Blindness on the opening night of the 61st Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday.

Im amazed by how fast she is already back to her fabulous self in this stunning one-shouldered cream gown with ruffled detailing by Armani Prive.

Mischa Barton attended the premiere of Blindness during the 61st Cannes International Film Festival in France. She wasnt hitting Cannes to promote a film. Nor is she a festival judge. But she managed to look stunning in a multi-tiered midnight blue gown by Italian designer Alberta Ferretti.
