Gwyneth Paltrow walked up the carpet with her date, Italian designer Valentino, donning a striking figure in  a black satin Chanel gown with plunging neckline and buckled satin heels.

She wore a black Chanel deep v-neck slip dress with ribbon details to the premiere of her film Two Lovers. Later last night she was in a Grecian-style white Lanvin one-shoulder dress for a Chopard event. Gwyneth was well covered and styled compared to some of the short and low-cut outfits she’s worn recently.

They arrived at the screening of her new film Two Lovers at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival on Monday in Cannes, southern France.

Two Lovers is a Brooklyn-set romantic drama about a bachelor (Joaquin Phoenix) torn between the family friend his parents wish he would marry and his beautiful but volatile new neighbor (Paltrow).

Gyneth Paltrow graces the cover of V magazine’s summer issue, hitting newsstands May 15.

The screen siren, who stars in two summer blockbusters, Iron Man and Two Lovers with Joaquin Phoenix, is featured in a series of stunning "pop" photographs shot by the famed photographer Mario Sorrenti.

 “Through thick and thin she’s a constant in my life,” says Paltrow. “It’s like we have some karmic thing. She’s a great woman. She’s taught me a lot.”

As for how she balances work with being a busy mom, Gwyneth keeps it real: “I have an amazing nanny. I didn’t have one till Apple was 14 months old, but then, because we were going on tour, we found someone fantastic. She’s been with us ever since.”

Nonetheless, motherhood hasn’t trampled all over Paltrow’s fashion icon status. “I’m always interested in fashion,” she says. “It’s part of who I am and how I express myself.” 

So, what’s in her closet?

 “Well, today I’m wearing a Balenciaga jacket, a Rick Owens T-shirt dress, and Lanvin flat boots that I’ve basically worn every day this winter. I wear a lot of Balenciaga. I find it really chic and easy to wear. I’ve gotten really into Sonia Rykiel lately, so I might wear a pair of jeans with a blazer by her. And I have my school-run uniform: leggings with boots and a sweater dress, or a long T-shirt and long cardigan.”

Gwyneth Paltrow’s obsession with lovely sky-high shoes and even minimizing-by-the-minute hemlines continues to stun me. Can anyone mange to own so many beautiful dresses, not to mention look bloody fabulous in them. Well the Brit fashionista did far from failing to impress her fans as she attended yet another screening of Iron Man hosted by the Cinema Society and Michael Kors at the Tribeca Grand in New York City today.

She donned an interesting textured cut-out halter mini dress by Stella McCartney with matching Loubutins black pumps.

Gwyneth continues to iron out our eyes

 Gwyneth and RDJr. are sizzling up the IRON MAN premiers across Europe with their amazing sense of style. First she set a statement in a Jean Paul Gaultier one shoulder black and white, scale patterned dress which was similar to Marion Cotillard's Oscar winning dress, which landed her straight on all the best dressed lists. 

Then, she set a stiletto height standard in Rome by wearing these freaking lovely stilettos. And the lovely dress black dress by Preen that wrapped around her lovely body just left me speechless! She looked like a goddess!!! Wow!! Its really good to see her like this again..

And last, she wore this lovely sequinn detailed minidress by Balmain. I must say that she has legs that would need to be flaunted on forever! And again, a pair of damn high pumps to finish up the whole look!
