Fashion History and Icon

Many might already recognize this fashion icon and extraordinare...
Marc Bohan (born August 22, 1926) is a French fashion designer.
He was the assistant to Christian Dior and in charge of the London, England branch of the house until 1958, when Yves Saint-Laurent, then fashion director of the house, was drafted by the army into the Algerian War of Independence. (Saint-Laurent lasted 4 weeks in the army, then suffered a nervous breakdown.)
Marc Bohan was handed the reins in Saint-Laurent's absence.

These designs date back to the early to middle sixties when Marc Bohan was heading Christian Dior.I’m adoring these fluffy things...

Aren't they vintage!

Poor Ola

Ola Brunkert, the former drummer with the Swedish pop group ABBA, was found dead with his throat cut at his home in Majorca. He is believed to have fallen through a glass door in his kitchen. He managed to get all the way to his garden before he adventually fell and to never get up again. This is just heart breaking!!!

The scene.... Poor por Ola..... Rest in peace my dear!!

.ABBA - 1976 Knowing Me, Knowing You.

ABBA were a fantastic band and i am sure their music will live on forever and ever. There were many other musicians who performed on stage with them on their tours who weren't so well-known as the primary members of the group but who played very important roles - one of them being Ola which was featured on every single of ABBA's albums..

. I'm sure Agnetha, Benny, Bjorn and Anni-Frid will be extremely saddened by this news.
