You say hello, I say goodbye...

I was walking down the stream alone, a tear crawled down my cheek- 

I touched it with my ring finger and tried to catch the droplet-

another tear came, and then I found myself crying along at the side of the stream.

I felt awful leaving my two babies at the pet hotel. My sunshine, my happiness... 

When i gathered myself up, I continued walking home, then i felt a crease at the side of my mouth, i was smiling...

It felt very odd to be both extremely sad and happy at the same time...

Early tomorrow morning, I am flying back to see my fiance, Raymond. But stepping off at KL for a day to do some serious shopping.

Finally, after 4 months apart, we are going to be able to see each other again!!

and on top of that, we are getting married!!

After a long 8 years, we are finally GETTING MARRIED...

I am soooo excited.....

So, I will be off until around halloween.....

All the posts will be scheduled posts, so don't wonder why I am not replying any emails or comments...

I hope my marriage can last forever just as my diamonds on my band will..

Picking up my wedding band was extremely hard since there are so many choices out there and many of them are just repetitions and replicas of the major jewelry brands out there such as Tiffany's, Bvlgary, etc...

God! Why do people think that we want to be like everyone else! Is it so strange to want to look different??

Well, adventualy we settled down with  very simple platinum rings with a single diamond implanted in the middle... Simple but chic!

As I was saying, finding the ultimate ring that will be part of your life for the next tens of years is really hard. So don't copy other's and don't go for best selling rings. Make it special and sacred!

Buying online is amazingly efficient and easy. The options are wider and more varied.

I've noticed that the prices are more competitive and the items are better in quality compared to them  from the stores.

This lovely site that I discovered offers amazing rings and other jewelry for various occasions.

What attracts me the most are the three stoned rings. This was my original idea for a wedding band since 3 stones are just amazingly perfect for the hand. The diamonds stand out without overdoing the look. A classic choice!

As for normal occasions as dinners, gatherings, etc, I always go for a simple necklace with a small diamond pendant on it. The diamond pendants offered at Classic Jewelry are lovely!!

Wedding bells

As my wedding date is getting closer and closer, I am getting pretty worried that I don't have enough time. I am getting the wedding blues...

After deciding on having a vacation wedding- due to many reasons, I am going for a more simple gown. A gown that is small in volume but yet rich in details,  light & able to flow freely in the wind.

Finally, I have narrowed it down and decided on the designer for my wedding gown.

His exquisite gowns just awe me and make me feel so beautiful and complete as a woman. For me, that is really important in selecting a wedding gown.

A few weeks back, before coming to Taiwan, Raymond and I made an appointment at the new "Designer Bridal Room" Boutique that had just opened a few weeks earlier.

I tried on some amazing gowns from Karl Lagerfeld, Vera Wang, John Galliano and Lusan Mandongus. Lovely rich details, crystals, dainty lace and delicate embroideries decorated the gowns in such an amazing and unique way.

But after trying on one particular dress (LM),  a small tear rolled down my face as I looked at myself in the mirror. 

I felt like the dress was made for me. Just for me. Or either I was created just for that one dress. It was a such magical feeling that I have never felt before. So intense....

The ladies opened the curtains of the fitting room and I slowly turned around to face my lovely fiance that was seated on a two seater in front of me. He immediately stood up and I could see from his face that he felt what I felt. 

He smiled at me and told me how beautiful I looked and how lucky he is to have me.

For a moment, we were in our own little world. 

Our heaven. 

Our eternity of never ending love. xx

That is how I knew that was my dress. The dress chose me. Lucky me..

But unfortunately, the price tag was a bit more that what we could afford....

Hopefully I will manage to find another dress like that. A dress that fits me. That I was made for...

That my dears, is how you know what to wear on your day. 

Don't worry, because I believe that each girl is specially created in such a way to fit in one dress. One lovely dress....

An update of my work

My final designs are almost ready... I have been really busy getting my 5 garments ready... so forgive my lack of post in the upcoming weeks...

Next month I will graduate from my fashion design course and move my British arse back to Taiwan. I can't wait!! I have spent too long in this country!!
I have been up every single night thinking about the interior of our new apartment in Taiwan...
Whether we should go with pink, blue or green walls...Hmm...

Then next January, Raymond and I are finally ending our LONGGGG engagement and getting married on the 16th. Aww..... I have waited for this moment for 8 years!! Finally I get to marry and spend the rest of my life with my lovely fiance...

Then a few days after- we will be off on our honeymoon travelling around Europe. France.. England... Spain..Germany.. and Sweden....
I CAN'T BLOODY WAIT!!!!
